Zoho Books timesheet
The integration is designed so a Zoho Books user never has to leave the accounting workflow to get tracked hours onto an invoice.
Each imported project keeps its customer link, so billable hours tracked on it are already attached to the client who will be invoiced.
Entries arrive in the Zoho Books timesheet as Unbilled, flagged billable or not from their project. You invoice them from Zoho Books whenever you are ready, with rates and taxes applied there.
Screenshots, activity levels and app usage are captured while the hours are tracked, so every line on the timesheet has a record of the work behind it.
Zoho Books organization users are matched to WebWork members by email, or invited from the same tab. Hours are logged in Zoho Books under the matched user.
When you connect, you choose which Zoho Books organization to integrate. It needs Zoho Books Professional or above, the plans that carry the timesheet and project billing module. The Settings tab shows the connection status and the selected organization at any time.
WebWork connects through your Zoho sign-in and works over the Zoho Books API: imports come in through it, timesheet entries go out through it.
After you connect, the integration page in WebWork has four tabs. Each one handles one part of the sync.
Five steps, all inside WebWork and your Zoho sign-in. No exports, no spreadsheets.
Enable Zoho Books
In your WebWork dashboard, go to Integrations, find Zoho Books under Finance and click Enable.
Sign in at Zoho and choose an organization
You are taken to Zoho to sign in. Review the permissions WebWork asks for (projects, customers and vendors, settings and preferences), accept, and choose the Zoho Books organization to integrate.
Import customers and projects
On the Customers tab, select the customers you need and click Import. Then do the same on the Projects tab, so each project keeps its customer link.
Match or invite members
On the Members tab, select the organization users to sync. Users with a matching email are linked to existing WebWork members; the rest can be invited from the same tab.
Turn on sending tracked time
On the Settings tab, turn on Send tracked time data from WebWork. Tracked hours now reach the Zoho Books timesheet within ten minutes, as unbilled entries ready to invoice.
Teams that bill from Zoho Books use WebWork to capture the hours accurately and hand them over in a form accounting can invoice without questions.
Hours are recorded from real activity on the member's device, with idle time detected, so the number on the timesheet is the time actually worked.
Each entry carries the billable flag of its project, so billable and non-billable hours stay apart in Zoho Books exactly as they are in WebWork.
Before anything is invoiced, reports in WebWork show the same hours by customer, project and member, with screenshots and activity levels one click away.
Works for in-house staff and for contractors billing by the hour: each member tracks in the desktop, web or mobile app, and the hours arrive in Zoho Books under their name.
Rates, taxes and invoice generation stay in Zoho Books. WebWork supplies the hours and the proof behind them.

Seamless Time Tracking with Flexible User Control
WebWork solves two huge problems for me: lost billable hours and client trust. Before, I’d underestimate time or forget to log it. Now, everything is captured automatically. More importantly, the activity reports let me show clients exactly what I worked on, which makes invoicing frictionless and builds lasting professional trust.
WebWork AI reads the same tracked data and answers questions about it: which customer took the most hours this month, which project is running over, who has not tracked today.
