Create and Refine Tasks With AI

WebWork adds an AI option to the task page. A task can be created with AI from a short prompt, and the same assistant works on tasks that already exist. It writes or improves the description, breaks the work into subtasks, suggests a time estimate, and answers questions about the task based on its content.

What You Can Do

• Create a new task with AI from a short prompt
• Write a description for an existing task, or polish one already written
• Generate subtasks that break the work into clear steps
• Get a suggested time estimate for the task
• Ask any question about the task and receive an answer

Why It Matters

• Tasks carry enough detail for the assignee to start without asking follow-up questions
• Estimates are available on any task, not only at the moment it is created
• Existing tasks can be improved in place instead of being rewritten by hand
• Less time is spent writing and structuring routine task text
