Upgrade Product Viewers to Paid Contributors
WebWork now allows workspace administrators to convert Product Viewers into Paid Contributors, extending their access to active collaboration features at the standard member seat price. This upgrade bridges the gap between passive observation and full team participation, giving the right people the right access at the right time.
What Changes with the Upgrade
When upgraded to Paid Contributor status, viewers gain three additional capabilities that open up active participation:
- Chat – Contributors can send and receive messages within workspace conversations, keeping communication in one place rather than relying on external tools.
- Video Meetings – Upgraded contributors can start and join video meetings directly through WebWork, removing the need for separate conferencing setups.
- Task Management – While viewers can see the tasks of projects they are part of, Paid Contributors can now create tasks, enabling them to contribute to project progress rather than just track it.
Billing and Access
The Paid Contributor seat is billed at the same rate as a standard member seat. Administrators can decide which viewers to upgrade directly from the Project Viewers page, and can manage contributor seats from the workspace settings. This gives organizations a predictable, consistent pricing structure as their active team grows.
