Historic Rate Tracking
WebWork now tracks rate changes over time with new Historic Rate sections added to the Contract side panel, the Member side panel under the Finance tab, and the Project side panel under the Properties tab. Every rate change made after this feature went live is recorded and displayed in a clear timeline, giving you full visibility into how compensation and billing have evolved.
On the Members page, the historic rate section shows member rate and salary changes — so you can see exactly when a pay rate was adjusted and what it changed from and to. On the Projects page, it displays project rate changes, making it easy to track billing adjustments across long-running engagements. On the Contracts page, contract rate changes are recorded with the same level of detail.
This historical record is essential for accurate financial reporting, audit trails, and resolving billing disputes. Instead of relying on memory or searching through emails to verify what rate was in effect at a given time, you can simply check the historic rate section and see the complete history at a glance.
