Leave Management With Monthly Balance Accrual

WebWork is expanding its leave management system with a new monthly accrual option for leave balances. In addition to the existing methods of granting full balance upon joining the workspace or based on hire date, administrators can now configure balances to increase automatically each worked month.

Monthly Balance Accrual

The new accrual option increases an employee’s leave balance based on the number of months worked. This gives organizations a more gradual and accurate approach to leave allocation, particularly for companies that prefer employees to earn time off progressively rather than receiving it all at once.

Flexible Balance Configuration

Administrators can choose between three balance methods per leave policy: full balance upon joining the workspace, balance based on hire date, or monthly accrual based on worked months. This flexibility allows different teams or departments to operate under the policy that best fits their workflow and regional labor requirements.
