Overview

WebWork introduces geofencing with dedicated job site management, giving organizations full visibility into field workforce activity. Administrators define work locations by entering an address and setting a custom radius on a map, then assign team members to each site. The system automatically detects when employees enter or leave a geofenced area, logging every visit with precise timestamps and duration.

Mobile App Location Detection

Geofencing works through the WebWork mobile app for iOS and Android. When employees have the app running and location tracking enabled, WebWork detects their location in real time and automatically records job site entries and exits.
This makes the feature ideal for field teams, remote workers, and mobile workforces who move between sites throughout the day.

Create and Import Job Sites

Setting up job sites is fast and flexible. Administrators can create a new site by simply entering an address, adjusting the geofence radius on an interactive map, and assigning team members. For companies managing dozens or hundreds of locations, bulk import allows adding multiple job sites at once, eliminating repetitive manual setup. Each job site stores its assigned members, location boundaries, and historical visit data in one place.

Detailed Visit Reports and Map View

Every job site visit is captured in a structured report showing employee name, entry time, exit time, and total time spent on location. Managers can filter reports by date range, employee, or specific job site to quickly identify attendance patterns or missed visits. All visit data is also displayed on an interactive map, providing a geographic overview of workforce activity across all sites. This gives field service companies, construction teams, and distributed workforce managers verifiable proof of on-site presence and a clear picture of how time is spent across locations.
