Automated Smart Classification for Apps and Websites

A new toggle is now available on the Apps and Websites page under the Productivity section for Premium plan users — Automated Smart Classification. When enabled, all unset apps and websites are automatically classified as Productive, Non-Productive, or Neutral based on what is most commonly set by AI across the WebWork platform.

This feature eliminates one of the most tedious parts of setting up app monitoring. Instead of manually reviewing and classifying every application your team uses, the AI leverages aggregated classification data to make intelligent assignments. Common tools like Slack, Figma, or VS Code are instantly categorized based on how most workspaces classify them, saving you significant setup time.

You retain full control — any automatic classification can be overridden manually at any time. The smart classification only applies to apps and websites that have not been set yet, so your existing classifications are never changed. This makes it a safe, set-it-and-forget-it feature that keeps your productivity reports accurate even as your team adopts new tools.
