Desktop Tracker — Automatic Tracking and Time Editing

The WebWork desktop tracker now supports adding, requesting, and editing time directly from the app, based on each user permissions. Team members no longer need to open the web dashboard to make adjustments — everything can be handled right from the tracker they already have running on their desktop.

Automatic Tracking mode is also available, designed for teams that want continuous time logging without manual start and stop actions. When enabled, the Start and Stop buttons are disabled, and the Start button can only be used to switch between projects or tasks. Time is tracked automatically as long as the computer is in use, eliminating forgotten entries and reducing the administrative burden on team members.

These updates make the desktop tracker a more complete and self-sufficient tool. Whether your team prefers manual control over their time entries or fully automated tracking, the desktop app now accommodates both workflows — giving everyone the flexibility to work the way that suits them best while keeping timesheets accurate and up to date.
