Unusual Activity Detection
Unusual Activity Detection is a new monitoring feature available under the Monitoring section for Premium plan users. It is turned off by default and can be enabled through Features in Settings, giving workspace owners full control over when and how it is used.
When enabled, the system evaluates several key metrics to detect and flag unusual activity based on behavior patterns. This includes anomalies in mouse and keyboard usage, app switching frequency, idle patterns, and other signals that may indicate irregularities in tracked time. The detection is designed to identify genuine outliers rather than penalize normal variations in work style.
Flagged activity appears in a dedicated view where managers can review the details and context before taking any action. This is not about micromanaging — it is about ensuring data integrity and catching edge cases that might otherwise go unnoticed. Whether you are verifying timesheet accuracy for client billing, maintaining compliance standards, or simply building trust through transparency, Unusual Activity Detection provides an additional layer of oversight without disrupting day-to-day workflows.
