Import Leave Balances and Annual Rollover

Two new additions to leave management that simplify balance setup and year-end transitions.

Import Leave Balances

• Upload a CSV or XLSX file to set leave balances for multiple members at once
• Choose to replace existing balances or add to current ones during import
• Ideal for onboarding a team, migrating from another system, or making bulk adjustments

Annual Rollover

• A new option available per leave policy to carry unused balances forward to the next year
• Enable rollover on the policies where it applies, leave it off where balances should reset
• Rollover happens automatically at the start of each year with no manual intervention

Why It Matters

• Eliminates hours of manual data entry when onboarding a team or transitioning from another system
• No more resetting balances manually at year-end, rollover handles it automatically
• The replace or add option gives admins full control over how imported data affects existing balances
