Silent Monitoring Mode

WebWork now supports silent monitoring mode, allowing you to install time tracking on company-owned devices without requiring any employee interaction. The software runs entirely in the background — launching automatically on startup and logging time, app usage, websites, and screenshots if enabled — without displaying pop-ups, tray icons, or requiring manual input from the user.

This mode is designed for organizations that need continuous monitoring on shared or company-owned equipment. On-site teams, field workers, secure facilities, and teams operating under strict compliance policies all benefit from a tracking solution that works invisibly. Employees do not need to remember to start or stop tracking, and there is no risk of accidental disconnection or forgotten time entries.

Silent mode integrates with all existing WebWork features — activity levels, productivity insights, app and website monitoring, and screenshot capture all function exactly as they do in visible mode. The only difference is that the tracker operates without any visible interface on the employee device. Managers get the same detailed reports and real-time data they rely on, while the tracking process stays completely out of the way.
